Research Skills & Information Literacy – what to teach and when to teach it?
Research skills and information literacy are essential to success in senior school, but they should be introduced earlier and built upon if students are to achieve mastery. At best, we should start laying foundations in the Primary years. This workshop reaches across Primary and Secondary levels, it explains the advanced skills required for student success and university preparation, and then shows how a scope & sequence helps map out the foundational skills required through primary and middle school.
