Beyond Books

Library Training

Affordable Learning for All

Our workshops deliver concentrated, interactive learning on a single topic. Condensed workshops mean that you don’t lose your whole day to a training and you aren’t paying for additional content that you don’t need, and it also keeps the fees down.  Three day workshops and big conferences are great for networking, but they are expensive and make it difficult for underpaid librarians to acquire the skills they need to earn a higher salary or a better job.

Our workshops are split into three broad topics, please continue reading about them below, or go straight to the workshop calendar to see what’s on offer this month.  Each workshop is run several times per year, so don’t worry if you missed a date, it will be available again soon.

Please scroll down to read about our workshop partners whom we collaborate with for bespoke offerings such as wellness, emotional intelligence, parenting, and when we run official IB certified workshops.  For large groups and organisations, please refer to our Consultation page.  And, if you do not see what you need, please ask, we are always interested in new ideas.
