Thank-you to everyone who attended our first expert panel. We had a wonderful warm audience who asked great questions, and an expert panel of speakers who offered interesting answers.
Now, we are ramping up for our next step, a series of interactive workshops between experts and you the audience, with a focus on education, learning, and the wellbeing of our children.
Our aim is to support your children’s learning by empowering you with better knowledge about learning, education, and the school system.
Each workshop will be a 90 minute up-close conversation between two experts, plus time to ask your own questions. You will meet dedicated experts from the many professions that influence education in the UAE and globally… psychologists, authors, parenting experts, school principals, doctors, literacy leaders, artists, creatives, teachers, librarians, & more…

Meet Our Expert Panel
Dr Diksha Laungani - Educational Psychologist & Assessments
Dubai-born, UK-trained Educational Psychologist with over ten years of experience in London and the UAE. Specialises in culturally responsive and neurodiversity-affirming approaches to therapy and assessments.
Dom Watts – Holistic Coach & Author
Dom began his career as a Primary Teacher after studying Psychology and Philosophy at Nottingham University, and after many years of bringing meditation, mindfulness and philosophy into classrooms and curriculums, he left education to work in psychology full time.
Dr Lamya Tawfik – Kids and Parenting Coach & Storyteller
PhD in Childhood Studies; nurturing children’s curiosity and mental growth by using the language they are all proficient in – play.
Kavita Srinivasan – Trauma-informed Parenting Coach
M.A in Holistic Psychology focused on Trauma Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies. Trained under Dr Shefali Tsabary. Public speaker, author, and former Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan Middle East.
Alan Jacques – Moderator – Librarian & Reading Expert
M.A. in Information Science, 20 years’ experience as an international school librarian, specialises in helping young people re-discover reading.
